ALL PLAYERS IN THE VARSITY GROUP.
I want thank everyone for trying out for the high school baseball team. We
have come a long way since last year. Last year, we had 8 players tryout
out. This year we had 4 times that amount. I was very pleased with the
effort by everyone that tried out.
If your name is not on the list, please don't get discouraged. I want you
to find a team and continue to get better. You get better by playing
everyday. Over the past two years, I had a pitcher that was cut his
Freshman and Soph. years. He continued to play on another team and worked
out with us in the offseason. He got bigger and stronger. He was a big
part of my team his Jr. and Sr. year. Keep your head up and continue to
work hard. Remember- Michael Jordan did not make the high school basketball
team his freshman year. He dedicated himself and became the greatest that
ever played the game.
All Varsity players need to be in Ripley at 1:30. Wear white pants, White
hat. I will bring jerseys. Campbell and McMillen need to be there.
JV Players- You need to be at Bolton Monday at 4:00. Wear white pants, and
a blue belt.
